Bebe Cool: 'Never trust no people'
The Ugandan singer Bebe Cool is one of Africa’s most popular reggae/ragga stars. He’s also perhaps the unluckiest.
In July 2010, Bebe Cool was performing in Kampala when a bomb was set off by Somali Islamist terrorist group al-Shabaab. "Most people who died were just in front of me. The blast was so loud—the next thing I saw were body parts flying over."
Six months earlier, after a gig and under a police escort, Bebe Cool and members of his entourage were shot by a drunken police officer.
